Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros will return this spring with a new album, their fourth, called PersonA, which apparently will be kind of a new start for the band and a return to the sound found on their debut. "No Love Like Yours" is the joyful  and captivating first single.

Day Wave: "Gone"

We have featured many tracks here by Jackson Philips, AKA Day Wave, and we really think the guy has a real knack for writing absolutely great dream pop jams, so when he releases an album, it's going to be like a greatest hits. "Gone" is his new single, and yes, it is also great.

Relick: "Offering"

Haling from Texas and fronted by Amber Nicholson, Relick want you not to forget about great guitar pop; their retro sound fits somewhere between Rilo Kiley , The Lemonheads and Dusty Springfield, and we really dig it. "Offering" is their great first single, taken from an Ep, "Twin House" that will drop on March 4.

Public Access TV: "On Location"

"On Location" is the excellent new single by Public Access TV, maybe one of rock's greatest hopes coming from the States right now. This New York young band really know how to do their own Strokes meet The Buzzcocks thing and they sound terrific, surely one of the best tracks we have heard this year.

Eat:"Byker Drone"

We don't know anything about Eat, other than they are a new UK band and their debut single, "Byker Drone" is a great slice of old style noise pop with crunchy guitars and catchy hooks. Really hoping to hear more from them soon.

Tacocat: "I Hate The Weekend"

Tacocat are a four piece from Washington that have been together since 2008, having already two albums published. They describe their music as pop punk pop, and their brilliant and addictive new single "I Hate The Weekend" sure fits that label, it's one of those catchy and fun power pop pills that we dig so much here. Lost Time, their third long player, will be out 1st April through Hardly Art Records.

Posse: "Voices"

Seattle's Posse put out one of our 2014 favourite albums, the excellent Soft Opening, and now they are back with a new single, two tracks featured on a limited 7" called Perfect H out next month. "Voices" is one of the songs included in that new release, a brilliant and haunting six minute jam that recalls that Lou Reed meets Yo La Tengo style that they do so good.

Sunflower Bean: "Easier Said"

We start a new year with some changes coming, the first being the language of the posts, now in English, since most of our readers are from english speaking countries and is also a great way to practice. Besides, we feel that most of our Spanish  readers will understand with no problem.
First 2016 post is for Brooklyn's Sunflower Bean, one of the bands hotly tiped for this new year with the release of their debut album, Human Ceremony. "Easier Said" is one of the songs on that album, a brilliant, personal and eeire blend of pop and psicodelia.
