Ha Ha Tonka are an important band for this blog, because almost nine years ago, our first write up and the birth of Stereo Pills was a post about them, Besides that, we really like them and we have loved each and every album they have put out, something that is likely to happen again with Heart-Shaped Mountain their fifth record, out on March 10th, which has the great, sweeping "Race To The Bottom" as first single.

Zuzu is a singer, musician and songwriter from Liverpool that has a knack for writing urgent, catchy and fuzzy indie pop jams. She did so with last year's "Get Of", and now he is hitting all the right spots again with the even better " What You Want"

The Courtneys new album, out in February through mythical New Zealand's Flying Nun label, is one of our more anticipated records of this year, since we really loved the first one by this talented canadian girls. Their fuzzy, 90's like indie pop is the kind of stuff we really dig here and their new single "Tour" is another great example of that.

We are really in the mood for big guitars and catchy choruses in this early days of the new year, so we are really digging Get Inuit's new single "Barbiturates". This band from Kent has been putting out some singles and Ep's since 2014 and they describe their sound as dirty indie guitar pop. "Barbiturates" is a great, big sounding indie rock track, the kind that could easily become an anthem.

We needed a fantastic track to kick off the new year season and London's Harlea provided just the perfect one. "You Don't Get It" is an amazing, catchy and abrasive mix of blues and rock unlike anything currently trending on the music blogosphere. Just classic, powerful vintage sound.
